The books we have.

What is in each book.
These counts are read out of the book itself, not written by hand. Where something is missing it says so.

Which book is your tender on?
Your award letter and your Schedule of Work say which book the rates came from. You choose it once when you start the tender and every rate after that comes from that book only.
The same code can mean different work in the two books, so picking the wrong one does not give you a slightly wrong rate, it gives you a different item. That is why the book is a choice you make and not something we guess.
- Older works still being billed on DSR 2016 stay on DSR 2016.
- A bill you signed last year opens with the same rates it was signed on.
- Both books are read only, so a rate cannot be edited by anyone, including us.
What is not in them.
Better to know this now than after you have entered a bill.
Cement figures on DSR 2016
That book has no coefficient appendix, so the Cement Statement has to be made by hand on it. On DSR 2023 it comes out with the rest.
Items that are not in the DSR
Non schedule items are priced by a rate analysis your department approves. They go on the bill at the approved rate and are marked so the AE can see which ones they are.
Other states
Only the CPWD books are offerable today. Haryana is read but not offered, because a rate we cannot stand behind is worse than a rate we do not have.
