Every rate from the book shows its page.
The rate on your bill is the rate in the book, and every line from the book carries the page it was read from. You can check any of it against your own copy of the DSR without asking us anything.
Not most of them. All of them.
A page number on some rows and not others would be worse than none, because the AE would have to work out which rows he can check. So the count is the whole count.
10,532 items from the book, and every one carries the page it was read from. The 123 items CPWD added later in its correction slips have no page in the book.
What it looks like on the bill.
The page number sits under the description, on the line itself, where the AE is already reading.
Open the book at that page and the rate is there. That is the whole idea, and it is why a returned bill is usually settled in one conversation instead of three.
What that buys you.
- S.No and item codes stay exactly as your BOQ has them.
- Quantities are not rounded, so your totals match to the rupee.
- A bill you signed last year opens with the same rates.
