Free readings and AI credits

Every time Revenin AI reads a paper for you, that is one reading. The first readings are free and are shared by all your tenders that are not paid for yet, and after you pay for a bill it carries its own AI credits for that tender.

Checked against ContractBill on 12 October 2026

Each paper is one reading, so reading the award letter and the Schedule of Work together is 2 readings. The first 3 readings are free, and they are shared by every tender whose bill you have not downloaded yet. They are not 3 for each tender.

How the readings go

  1. Read your papers on the Revenin AI page. The badge at the top counts down the free readings left.
  2. When the free readings are all used, Read both and Read it are switched off. A notice names the tenders that hold the readings, and what to download to read again.
  3. On a tender read 3 times, the next reading asks you first, because the bill moves to the higher price, the one with 5 AI credits. The button shows the new price.
  4. After 5 readings on a tender, you pay for its bill first.
  5. After you pay, the bill carries 3 AI credits for that tender, or 5 if it was read more than 3 times. The readings you made before paying are counted in them.
  6. When the credits are used, press Use one credit if you have a spare one, or Buy 1 or Buy 3.

Things to know

  • Downloading a bill takes that tender's readings out of the count, so you can read on your other tenders again. Your first bill is free, so this can cost nothing.
  • A tender you delete holds its readings for a week, and then they stop counting.
  • A reading that fails does not count, and neither does one you stop before any row appears.
  • Extra AI credits are sold only on a bill you have paid for, ₹399 for 1 or ₹899 for 3. Spare credits in your account are used on your next bill that needs them.
  • There is also a limit on how much you can read in one day.
  • You never have to read. A schedule typed in by hand builds the same bill.
How it is worked out

The free readings are one pool for all tenders that are not paid for yet:

Free readings left = free readings less the readings on all your unpaid tenders

Sawan Park has been read 2 times and Drain work has been read 1 time, and neither bill is downloaded:

TenderReadingsCounts in the pool
Sawan Park22
Drain work11
All unpaid tenders3

That is all the free readings, so a new tender cannot read yet. You download the bill of Sawan Park, which takes its 2 readings out of the pool. Now only the 1 reading of Drain work counts, and the rest of the free readings are open again for your other tenders. The bill of Sawan Park carries 3 AI credits, 2 are already used, so 1 is left on it.

If you see this message

Download the bill of the tender named in the notice, from its Download page, and its readings stop counting.
